Sheila has a particular interest in working with clinicians to recognise and understand processes for change. She has worked extensively with health care teams using process redesign methodology to both understand and develop many aspects of service delivery. Sheila joined the NHS in 1982 and has extensive experience as both a nurse and a manager. Her most recent NHS roles prior to joining Dearden in 1992 were developing a health economy wide commissioning framework for diabetes services and establishing a managed clinical network for critical care. Particular skills include strategic planning, project management and stakeholder engagement in implementing change.

CONSULTANCY EXPERIENCE
During the last 7 years Sheila's experience has encompassed a wide range of service delivery areas including strategic planning, service redesign, long term condition management, primary care development and business case production.
