RECENT CAREER HISTORY
Sharon was the Chief Executive of the Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust until January 2009. During her time there the hospital achieved the rating of Excellent/Excellent twice lastly in October 2008, one of only eleven organisations in the country to achieve this two years running. The Hospital was named top NHS employer by the Health Service Journal and the Nursing Times for 2008. Sharon has also spent time as a Chief Executive of a PCT in the South West where Practice Based Commissioning was cited as a national example of best practice.
CONSULTANCY EXPERIENCE
Sharon has recently joined Dearden Consulting. She has been working as an Interim Director for an SHA developing their quality improvement framework in response to the national framework outlined in Lord Darzi’s report, “High Quality care for All”. |
